Brief Bio
Dr. Amir Dirin is currently working as a docent in educational technology at Helsinki University and Sr. lecturer at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. His main areas of expertise are user experience design, augmented and virtual reality, and learning technologies. Dr. Dirin has more than 20 years of experience as a practitioner and academic. As a practitioner, he has worked as a programmer, Java Runtime expert, user experience and consumer intelligence Expert, concept owner, and project manager at Nokia and various other companies in Finland. As an academic, he has worked as a lecturer in various higher educational institutions in Finland and elsewhere in Europe.

Learning-based Virtual and Augmented reality applications design, evaluation, experiments, and future trends from usability and user experience perspective.
