Brief Bio
Dr. Amir Dirin is currently working as a docent in educational technology at Helsinki University and Sr. lecturer at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. His main areas of expertise are user experience design, augmented and virtual reality, and learning technologies. Dr. Dirin has more than 20 years of experience as a practitioner and academic. As a practitioner, he has worked as a programmer, Java Runtime expert, user experience and consumer intelligence Expert, concept owner, and project manager at Nokia and various other companies in Finland. As an academic, he has worked as a lecturer in various higher educational institutions in Finland and elsewhere in Europe.

SCOPE

Mobile learning applications are targeted towards smartphones, which have enormous potential downloadable entertainment applications such as a game. In this context, an m-learning application must design so that it competes students' time with other in-device applications. 

TOPICS

Authors are welcome to submit papers, discuss theory or research issues, demonstrate tools:
  • Mobile learning user experience design
  • Mobile learning user experience evaluation
  • Factors impact to mobile learning user experience
  • Usability considerations of mobile learning application

After thorough reviewing by the special session program committee, all accepted papers will be published in a special section of the conference proceedings book - under an ISBN reference and on digital support and submitted for indexation by DBLP, Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index, EI, Microsoft Academic, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar
