SCOPE

The worldwide outbreak of the pandemic COVID -19 forced a series of unprecedented social isolation and security measures, leaving hardly any aspect of daily life untouched. One area that was certainly greatly changed by COVID -19 was the education sector. Online learning became an urgent necessity rather than an option. The rapid development of online and blended learning approaches necessitated by school and campus closures presented a number of challenges to learners, teachers and education managers. However, when evaluating these emergency distance learning courses, it is important to understand that emergency distance learning is a temporary change that is completely different from well-planned online learning in terms of values, theoretical and practical foundations.
